In the heart of South America
the quetzal bird has been prized for its exquisite beauty so much
that it has been born by the Aztec Goddess Xochiquetzal who is
the goddess of earth, fire, passion, and fertility as well as
the Mayan god Quetzalcoatl. It was the feathered serpent, or Quetzalcoatl,
that took priests and priestesses on flights of the soul and was
the most peaceful and loving of the gods; demanding only that
flowers and butterflies be offered as sacrifice to him. Fluid
in its movement, the entire Quetzal line is sensually organic,
texturally enticing, and has the power to change the vibrational
rate of the room it is placed in.
