A stone cut open to reveal a galaxy within. Made entirely of glass, our work has stirred wonder since first being introduced in 1999. Everything that a paperweight isn’t (round, clear, and symmetrical), these pieces make for a creative contemporary statement. Designed to be lit from beneath with a light box, the dichroic glass galaxy shifts color in the light, highlighting a star field of bubbles. These are a favorite of our male customers.

The lens of this solid piece of glass is meticulously ground and polished for a gentle magnification of the interior in the small and medium pieces, which helps to gather more light than a flat window and allows it to be viewed from an acute angle.
